Lettre d’hiver 2023

Lettre d’hiver 2023

The festive season - what an exhilarating time! At Mas de la Dame, there's an air of magic that everyone wants to keep alive. Make yourself comfortable and let us tell you all about our news over the last few months.

Let's go back to October.

A few weeks after the end of the grape harvest, the olives were picked. And we've been spoiled: this year we'll have enough of our precious oils with their characteristic flavours.

And we're totally in love with their new bottle!

As soon as the olive groves were finished, the pruning began. For several months, the outside team will carefully select the buds that will produce the future shoots and bunches for the 2024 harvest.

They are accompanied by Mathilde's sheep, who feast on the grass growing along the rows and enrich the soil.

The cold weather has recently settled over the Vallée des Baux, with the Mistral blowing away the clouds and allowing the sky to offer us some spectacular views.

Light and magic were also the order of the day in our boutique, decorated by Nicole and her fairy fingers.

An enchanting setting where you'll find plenty of gift ideas.

For example, old vintages of our great vintages. Our exceptional sales continue until the end of the month, which is the ideal time to come and pick up the wines that will accompany your festive meals.

You'll also find new vintages of your favourite cuvées, including Coin Caché Blanc 2022, Bois de Rose 2022 and Vin SanS 2023.

And since bubbles are a must at the end of the year, rediscover our traditional methods!

We renamed them "Auguste Faye" in honour of our great-grandfather, the founder of our family history at Mas de la Dame.

After the festive season, Barbara's workshop on "Sugars and how to avoid them in our diet" will be just what you need for your New Year's resolutions.

The first two editions were a real success, and registration for the workshop on 18 January is already open. Register now!

That's right, next year is almost here, and we want to keep bringing you more and more new products.

So we're holding serious meetings ... with a festive flavour!

As always, we look forward to welcoming you to our cellar to help you discover our wines and olive oils, from 8.30am to 6pm on weekdays and 9am to 6pm at weekends.

The shop will be exceptionally closed on 25 December and 1 January, as well as on Sundays in January and 4 February.

We wish you a very happy holiday!

See you soon in our beautiful showcase,

Anne and Caroline
